“The Day on You”

An Eastern bluebird takes flight from the headstock of a Jazzmaster electric guitar. The headstock has "THE DAY ON YOU" printed on it.

Ten years passed since New York's loud/folk/experimental rockers Ghost Ghost released the song "Hey Princess" ... and then the band disappeared. When asked about Ghost Ghost, members were only able to give a terse reply: "I am unable to answer due to contractual, legal, and national security obligations. The pants I am wearing are not my pants! Good day to you!"

Ten years have passed. Ghost Ghost is free from those obligations (and no longer wearing those pants). This is a cover of a fairly obscure Tom Verlaine song, "The Day on You," made in honor of Tom Verlaine's recent passing.
